Only a few companies use machines to produce patient-specific blister packs. The core technology originates inhouse. During the production process mainly machines and technologies from the Körber Medipak group are used. Automation further reduces possible errors relating to the composition of the medication. In this context, AvidiaMed works with a "zero error tolerance" as a standard specification.

The manufacturing process conforms to the high quality standards of the pharmaceutical industry. At no time during the entire manufacturing process are different open products processed simultaneously. Through its individual lot number, each AvidiaMed blister wallet has its own identity. Consequently, fast and accurate tracking of every tablet from manufacturer to patient is possible; in an emergency - such as product recalls by pharmaceutical manufacturers - this can save lives.
This technology is also planned for international use. If you are interested in further information please contact us.

According to estimates by the WHO, the World Health Organisation,
only about half
of all chronically ill
patients comply with their doctor's
precise recommendations for taking their medication.
According to studies,
more than six million patients in Germany take more than three drugs daily.
The direct and indirect costs of non-compliance in Germany are estimated at between
7.5 and 10 billion euros per year.
Compliance rate: for one tablet per day 80 per cent, for four tablets to be taken per day only 30 percent.
